Arno Piters studied clarinet and E-flat clarinet at the Maastricht Conservatory with Jan Cober and Willem van der Vuurst and graduated with honors. He then studied with George Pieterson at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where he again graduated with honors. As a soloist, he has performed with the Residentie Orchestra, the Limburg Symphony Orchestra, and the Nürnberger Symphoniker, among others. As a chamber musician, he has performed at festivals both in the Netherlands and abroad. From 2001 to 2003, he was a member of the Radio Symphony Orchestra. He then became the (E-flat) clarinetist with the Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. Together with Fons Verspaandonk, he curates the program for the chamber music festival “les Etoiles du Morvan” in France. He teaches at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.
