Actress Kikki Géron graduated cum laude from Fontys Music Theater in 2018. Her love for Brecht began after performing in ‘An Evening with Kurt Weill,’ a production by NJO Muziekzomer.
The singer and actress specializes in combining classical and modern styles in her performances. She adapts pieces—while respecting the composer and lyricist—in such a way that the message remains relevant today. Together with her Brecht Trio, she performed their adaptation of ‘Die Rundköpfe und die Spitzköpfe’ during the Eisler Days on Radio 4; she appeared at the Café Theater Festival with her own show ‘Eva Braun’; performed at the Brecht Festival, and gave concerts both at home and abroad. She has also performed in productions by De Nationale Opera and Opera Zuid.
