Leonard Evers (b. 1985) is a composer and conductor. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature from Leiden University, he graduated cum laude with a degree in Composition and Arrangement from the Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam.
Leonard’s music combines elements of jazz, world music, and contemporary music. His literary background explains his passion for musical theater. As a conductor, Leonard is a curious ‘musician among musicians.’ He enjoys improvised, classical, and contemporary music, and strives for direct, nonconformist communication with the audience.
